If you are looking to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), one road you may consider taking to get there is by taking Red Cross CNA training. This training is of a very high standard and can be taken in multiple states in America. A CNA on average earns approximately $45,000 per year. They play an important role in the health care system, and thus training must be of the highest standard.

If you plan on participating in Red Cross CNA training, make sure you are fully committed to the CNA training program. If you are not fully committed, you will not get the full experience and training from these classes, which does not serve you well for the future in acting as a CNA. If you are participating in the class, as a requirement you must attend all classes and arrive at the correct time to these classes. In the completion exam, which consists of two sections, a skills test and a written test, you must also achieve a score of 80% or over.

You can register for Red Cross CNA training with the American Red Cross on their website. To register, you must be 18 or older, free of convictions and diseases and you must have a cleared background check.

To partake in Red Cross CNA training it does require to you pay some money, such as the screening fee ($35), testing and more.

Once you are a qualified CNA, you will have a wide number of responsibilities in your employment, such as observing and assessing patients, frequently checking up on patients to see how they are doing and assisting nurses in their jobs.

If there isn't any Red Cross CNA training in your area and you wish to become a CNA, do not fear. There are multiple other options / ways for you to become qualified. Locally there should be some sort of nursing program, so if there isn't one run by the Red Cross or you wish to get your qualification elsewhere, find a local nursing school.
